Local pop music radio station which broadcasts to North Yorkshire. Strong commitments to local news, events, sports, and other information. All output is produced from within the coverage area.
Despite strong listening figures, the station has an uncertain future, and is expected to loose local programmes under its new owner Bauer Media. Although plans have yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated by some that the station will be merged into the 'Hits Radio' Network.

All programmes on Misnter FM are produced from within the coverage area, from studios located in York. Automation is restricted to overnights only. News output is split, with separate local bulletins for the Thirsk and Northallerton area.
Scott's Radio Site views this station as a high quality example of a local commercial radio station, although is concerned that local output will be lost when owners Bauer Media take full control of the station.
Expanded to cover Thirsk and Northalerton in 2017, taking over the 102.3 FM and 103.5 FM frequencies from Star Radio North East.
